Damn, a hell of a lot happens when you lose track of reading people's blogs for a month or two. I suppose I remember hearing about you tearing out the pool, but didn't know you were tearing out the deck and putting in a new one. Awesome job. It looks really nice. My only recommendation, not that I have ever built a deck myself, but from experience sitting on plenty of them, attach your top railing of your hand rail to your posts, and just put that vertical bars on for show, so that the top railing is sturdy enough for sitting on. That way you are sure to have plenty of seating when everyone you know comes over for a BBQ.
