Poor Honda
My honda has been ill for the last three days and yesterday, I thought it was going to start ralphing on the road. It sounded awful. As the mechanic informed me this morning, my front left caliper had locked onto my wheel and was causing the painfully loud screeching sounds that was causing the bunnies that live in my backyard to move to Niles (and who would want that?). $550 later, my Honda is medicated and greatly improved. I'm keeping antacid in the car from now on to help it feel better when it gets sick.

I feel your pain. My Toyota has been having trouble lately as well. It occassionaly doesn't want to keep running when I start it up and go to shift it into gear. Then yesterday the Check Engine light came on. Calling around to every Toyota dealership in the area, the soonest appointment I could get is Tuesday at the crack of dawn. One even said there earliest available appointment was for September 30th. I mean I can get a table at Morton's on less notice. I am thinking it is the alternator calling it quits. But following your start up and shut down procedure of turning the A/C and radio off does seem to help. Especially since my radio antenna is motorized.
Can I borrow some antacid??
Hang in there Honda!!! You have plenty of life left!
Make sure you do everything you can to save that poor car. Remember you need to teach your kids to drive in that car! Oh the fond memories...Nate you don't have a problem with letting go do you?
Nathan, you've still got me beat. I just had my Camry in for a check up today and apparently something called the EGR valve and the VSV cost $465 to fix. But I am not sure all the problems are still fixed. So I might still beat you on repair bills.
